Rebelblender Animation
Here is a little animation that I did over the weekend. It is composed of text, a plane, and a camera that is animated throughout the 400 frames. I am planning on spending more time on it in the coming days to make it better.

Looking for an Animation Tutorial?
I found an awesome tutorial that covers some basic modeling of a city that you will eventually animate a camera fly through of. I will be doing it myself soon, but if any of you are looking for a good tutorial, check this one out! It is a five part series so you can go as far as you want!

Turning in your Dice
If you are done with your dice and have made an image of them, it is time to turn them in. In order to post your dice pictures on this blog, you need to be a member of this blog. Send an email to evanl@mooselake.k12.mn.us and I will send you an invitation to be a member of this blog.
After you are a member, you need to post a pic or multiple pics on this blog along with your initials and graduation years (i.e. EEL 1998).
I am really looking forward to seeing your dice!

First Assignment - Dice
Your first assignment will be to create an image of a die or set of dice. You will be following a website tutorial to do this. Here is the tutorial.
To submit your image, you will post a picture of it on this blog. This way your classmates can give you constructive criticism on your design.
In order to post a picture to this blog, you need to be an author of this blog. I will help you sign up to become an author of this blog when you are ready to do so. You will need an email address to do this.
Here is an example of what you will post when you are done:
1.I call this one Rebel Snake Eyes
2. For this one, I just added an extra die in the air.
3. Changed this lighting a bit in this one.
4. Tried a different kind of light on this one.
5. Different light and removed the image texture off the plane.
6. Tried using some metallic materials.
These images created by EEL-1998 on Blender 2.43
Texture image borrowed from KMW 08. Thanks!
